Bulawayo, a top-notch city in Zimbabwe one of the top and most efficient in Zimbabwe has many roads and amenities that are up to date. In any successful local administration, local relations staff are the core of business and the city of Bulawayo has not been spared form this regard. It is for this reason the city of Bulawayo took a decision to call upon the Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy, Conflict Resolution and Team Building for not only Councilors but for Bulawayo staffers to buttress the ever-growing staff relations of this mushrooming city of kings and queens. This workshop was not only to encompass conflict resolution but application of diplomacy in the workplace and the essentials of effective teams. The content deliberately covered conflict resolution techniques, how to resolve Conflicts in the Workplace, how to deal with difficult people in a conflict situation, applying diplomacy in conflict resolution, team building, approaches to problem solving at workplace and flexibility in conflict resolution. The lead facilitator Mr V.A Chikanda emphasized on the importance of teamwork as a way to manage conflicts and resolve them. By resolving conflicts in a more professional and respectful manner, they are enabled to collaborate better with co-workers, building stronger work relationships. The city of Bulawayo Councilors was furnished with the necessary skills to amicably resolve any form of conflict. When conflicts are resolved everyone channels their energy towards progressive development initiatives.
